This 16 foot cable is used to extend USB cables beyond the 15 foot limitation. The USB Active Extension cable actively buffers the incoming and outgoing signals to assure compliance with USB's revision 2.0 specification for electrical and timing minimums. Both low-speed and high-speed USB devices will function equally well with the USB Active Extension.
